Cold
Starting with the design. It is important that the Architect understands the important details that make a cold storage facility operate efficiently, with no condensation build-up, or heat infiltration. From there, a General Contractor with the knowledge of how to construct an efficient facility is needed. The General Contractor needs a Trade Partner team who have the knowledge to install the details in the field. Not all field conditions are as shown on a set of plans, and the project team needs the knowledge of how to adapt to those conditions.
From the underfloor heating system, vapor barriers, underfloor insulation and building envelope to roofing and refrigeration systems – FCL’s National Cold Storage Team works with FCL’s local teams to ensure each project will be built to the industry’s best standards & details.
