FCL Builders Completes Construction of Liberty Commerce Center

Speculative building includes LEED Silver Certification

Jackson, Georgia -- August 6, 2019:  FCL Builders has recently completed construction on an 840,000 square foot speculative industrial warehouse and distribution center in Butts County, Georgia. Liberty Commerce Center, equipped with a staggering 153 dock doors, was built via tilt-up construction and includes an ESFR fire protection sprinkler system and 210,000-gallon water tank.

Along with the 176-trailer parking and 409 standard parking stalls, the facility includes 23 low-emission and fuel-efficient spots, with plenty of room for expansion with an additional 7.7 acres of potential space for additional trailer loading or storage.

Project Manager Doug Watson took pride in the job FCL and their team of subcontractors took in the creation of the building. “One of the things that I am personally and professionally most proud of on this project is the level of pride and commitment from the project team. I have never seen anything like that, and I think this carried us through to the end. We had a very respectful relationship and understanding that we were all, both from an owner’s and contractor’s perspective, trying to do the same thing: complete an amazing facility.”
